New music for the acoustic guitar and double bass - four hands, ten strings, and two bits of wood. The title track, inspired by the music of Nick Drake and the Annual Nick Drake Gathering, has a shimmering string quartet arrangement by James Edge. Working in this duo format, we are grateful to stand on the shoulders of giants such as Danny Thompson & John Martyn or Charlie Haden & Pat Metheny.
Launched during the August 2019 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, featured on BBC Radio Scotland Jazz Nights.

" ... a tasteful, melodic and inventive jazz guitarist ... what they do with folky themes, jazzy chords and a sliver of Bach is a delight ... lush strings ... growling percussive bass ... the nimble dance of the music suits their duet playing perfectly ... time stands still ... will not disappoint."
Marc Higgins, FATEA
